A quote from one of my favourite series is an appropriate way to begin this adventure into Tertiary education so that I may keep my sanity throughout the years to come. Being “An Introduction of Sorts” I thought it would be suitable to introduce myself also.

• Likes: Dogs, Anime, Gaming, Traveling, Exploring, Nutella
• Dislikes: Cats, Exercise, Anything not covered in Nutella
• First Year: Media and Communications Studies Majoring in: I have no idea.

So with that out of the way I shall continue to explain why I have chosen this subject, which will propel me in to the world of blogging in the public (as if my anxiety wasn’t already at its peak).

I’ve always loved making videos, movies, films and clips of pure hilarity and randomness and show them to other people to create laughter. You could say that it’s like my gateway drug to my future career, but I’ve definetly always known that I would be undertaking in something with a camera.

Photographing, Writing, Filming and Traveling have been passions which I have manifested into obsessions over the past few years. It resulted in me making a YouTube channel around 2 years ago which was me acting stupidly in front of a camera and hoping that people would enjoy it. People did. However it wasn’t the reaction I was expecting. The individuals who found my videos weren’t too pleased with them and were quite mean in their “feedback” of my videos which I religiously posted once a week. Eventually these videos circulated throughout the whole school. After a year of my satirical behaviour being broadcasted around the school at my own expense I deleted everything. All my hard work gone.

Starting up this online profile again is going to be very difficult. Being anxious about the judgement of others puts me in quite a predicament as to how I am going to portray myself online. Sadly though doing this course is what I have decided to do with no real goal or finish line that I can clearly see at the end. So I guess you will all have to bear with me through this rollercoaster which they call BCM 112.

BUT ANYWAYS… What is this blog even about!?

I have decided to create a blog where each week I travel somewhere around NSW scoping out the location to see what’s good, bad and any hidden secrets which may lay in wait for me to discover. I like adventure. I like discovering (BOSTES has come back to haunt me already). So I thought, why not!

My obsession with the internet has helped me survive online thus far, I hope that I will be able to survive for at least 3 years to come.

As a wise man once said “Life is like a box of Chocolate.” – We are all different in our special little ways, but deep down we’re all just chocolate.

If you’d like to know anymore, buy me some Nutella and I’ll give you some info back over Nutella on anything.
