Well, needless to say my train catching escapades through Central this morning were nothing short of stunning, awesome and captivating, all at the same time.
As I was attempting to swap trains from Central to Circular Quay (my usual Wednesday and Friday routine), I came across a crowd of people standing around the outside of something. My curiosity got the better of me and I automatically HAD to see what was happening in the Grand Concourse this time.
People were gathered around what looked like an artwork with Egyptian music playing in the background. What was it for? The Mummy of course! Commuters wore pharaoh’s hats, Anubis masks and even held weapons from ancient Egypt. What a delight!
What was even better was the fact the artwork was three dimensional. Meaning this 3D installation made it look like you were falling through the ground if you took the picture from above! It was absolutely awesome!
You could see deep into Princess Ahmanet’s tomb from the film and looked great from an elevated height. A professional photographer and volunteers were there to help run the swarming crowd through the 3D installation.

The 3D installation was only supposed to be there until 11am but stayed until 12pm due to the sheer amount of people wanting to get their 3D perspective on The Mummy’s Tomb! Needless to say, my Wednesday was jam packed full of action and thrills.
